Ballywillan Drama Group to perform "Don't Tell The Wife" by Sam Cree, for one night only, on Tuesday 14th September, after the success of it's four night run in Portrush Town Hall as part of the Portrush Summer Theatre Season in July. Edna Willis becomes convinced that her husband is becoming interested in another woman. He isn’t but he does have some secrets of his own. Her attempts to stop him lead to hilarious misunderstandings in this classic comedy. Don’t Tell The Wife comes from the pen of one of Northern Ireland’s most popular playwrights. Sam Cree has never really been given the credit he deserves for his sublime comedies, even though they were produced all over the world. His plan was to get a laugh every three lines and a belly laugh on every page. His characters were memorable - everyone recognises his neighbour in them, never themselves of course. Cree also wrote for the Carry On films, George Formby and Arthur Askey.
